Hello Mechano-Computation for Expanding Scientific Horizons (MESH) community,
Welcome to the community wiki for topics in Mechano-Computation in engineering and the sciences. As the MESH network grows we hope that this wiki will become a resource for MESH members to exchange ideas, information, challenges, and examples from the areas of Mechano-Computation among network members. Furthermore, the wiki will provide a forum to share opportunities in Mechano-Computation research and reports from workshops/seminars/symposia.
To allow for emergent growth of this community, we will be rolling out topical activities every few months to collectively build the wiki. As our first task of the wiki, and a broader goal of this network, we are soliciting input to define and provide examples of Mechano-Computation in research and everyday life. We are asking for members who would like to contribute to the wiki to post their answers to the following two prompts on the Definitions and Examples Page:
To kick-start this request, we organizers have provided our answers. We hope this exercise provides some examples of the breadth of responses, and also provides a simple example of how to provide content and comments on the wiki.
